The final narrative order

Whilst playing around with the narrative of the video, we decided to take inspiration from the song. The song itself is about death and we thought this would be a good theme to pursue. With this being the main theme we would concentrate on, we decided to crack on with the narrative structure:

The video tells the story of a drug addled man, close to death, lying limply on a dirty floor. The video will cut to the same man, returning from a funeral, melancholy. As the shot continues this person will continue to become excessively distraught, starting to get uncontrollably violent. However, the audience at this point are still unaware of who's funeral this man has attended, and his connection with them. The scene will continue, and as the man has a breakdown he turns to drugs. The video will fade to both him and a young lady. A montage will represent their romance, happy together, and ending in the sudden death of the woman.This is connoted as the protagonists reason for his self destructive sadness. The video fades one last time to the man in his room again, slowly dying as he overdoses.
