Before we get underway properly with the project, we've been asked to have a practice at editing in the style of a music video. Using the OCR Get Ahead Media blog, we watched a video by a group called 'The Vixens' and studied a 4 way split that they had achieved in editing. We then had to go out and film ourselves before editing the footage.
This is what came out of that short period of time for practicing, and although it doesn't look very professional, we had realised early on in the editing stages that we didn't have anywhere near enough footage for it.However, it includes the basics of what we set out to achieve, flipping images and using freeze frames in an attempt to echo 'The Vixens' video. It was a useful exercise in teaching us the importance of having enough principal photography to work with and the framing/flipping of images, something that we possibly intended to use in our own music video.
