Pink Floyd's albums arguably wouldn't be anywhere near as recognisable as they are without the help of Storm Thorgerson, the photographer who designed the album artwork for over ten of their albums. Some of these include:
* The Dark Side of the Moon (1973)
* Shine On (1992)
* Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 1980-81 (2000)
The album we're focusing on is The Dark Side of the Moon, due to this featuring the track that we're using. Realising that creating an album cover that reflects and echoes Thorgerson's famous, complex work would be very hard for us to do, we still set out to achieve something that would summarise the album artwork for Pink Floyd; simple, bold and original
Storm Thorgerson's first piece of artwork for the band, The Dark Side of the Moon (1973)
